Concrete work does not always happen between eight and five. Roads, airports, utility corridors and busy commercial lots often can only be closed at night or on a weekend, and the repair has to be finished before traffic returns. If you are the contractor on that job, the hardest part is often finding concrete at midnight.
Quick Mix Concrete was built for exactly that kind of work. We bring the batch plant to you.
Why We Fit Odd Hours Work
A traditional ready mix supplier has to fire up a full plant to load a truck. Batching, staffing and running a large plant at night for a small load costs a lot of money, so many suppliers simply do not want to open for a few yards. Contractors hear “we can’t do it” or get quoted a price that reflects the cost of running the plant.
Our volumetric mobile mixers do not depend on a plant opening up. Each truck carries sand, stone, cement and water in separate compartments and mixes your concrete fresh at the pour site. There is no plant to open, no drum of material aging on the road, and no minimum load that makes a small repair a bad deal for us. We have no problem showing up for a small pour in the middle of the night, and because we are not carrying the cost of running a huge plant for a short load, our pricing for small jobs is significantly lower. See our Pricing page for the mixes we offer.
Small Jobs Are Our Specialty
We are not looking to compete for data center buildouts or big commercial pours. Our sweet spot is the small, urgent work that big plants overlook, usually 10 yards or less, including:
- Road and pavement repairs that must be finished inside a closure window
- Utility line installs for water, gas, electric and communications
- Storm sewer drain work, both over the road and under the road
- Trench backfill and conduit encasement
- Sidewalk, curb and apron repairs
- Emergency repairs that cannot wait for a plant to open
We have done numerous projects like these around metro Atlanta, including GDOT related work. GDOT DOT-A certified mixes are available when your specification calls for them.
Overnight at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport
One of our favorite examples is an overnight repair pour at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Work like that has a tight window and no room for a late truck. Our mobile mixer arrived on site, made the concrete fresh and placed it right into the repair, then the crew finished the surface while the rest of the airport stayed lit and active in the background.

What to Tell Us When You Call
To schedule an odd hours pour, have a few details ready: the location, your closure or work window, the approximate yardage, any mix or DOT-A requirement, and how the truck can get to the pour. Our concrete calculator can help you estimate yards. You can also browse real jobs on our Our Work page and see the areas we cover on our Service Area page, including Atlanta.
Need a dumpster for the demolition or cleanup that comes with the repair? Bin There Dump That Atlanta, handles dumpster rentals, so you can line up the concrete and the debris container with two companies under the same ownership.
Same day delivery is available, and we are a local, veteran owned company. Call or text 470-880-8544, or use our contact page, and tell us when you need us. We will bring the plant.
